The Getaway

James and Ally entered the lounge and went to a table where a group had already assembled. Sitting at the table were Nicole and Monica, Regina and Rachel, and Shannon and Kelsey. They had each been invited by their mutual friend Marcia who told them she had something important to discuss with them. Marcia arrived shortly after with her boyfriend Kyle, who was also James' brother. She greeted each of them and they all sat down.
"What I'm about to tell you isn't easy for me," Marcia began, "but you are all my closest friends and I wanted to share this decision with all of you. For a long time I have been spending less and less time as Marcus and have come to the realization that it is time I become Marcia full-time. I have begun taking hormones and am in the process of making the decision to get sexual reassignment surgery. This was not an easy decision to make, but I no longer feel like a man dressing as a woman. Deep down I feel like Marcia is my true identity and Marcus is merely a facade. I hope you will all support me in my transition and if not I understand."
They all sat in silence for a while. While each of them enjoyed dressing up as women, none of them felt like women deep down. For them it was only a hobby. Having each known Marcus/Marcia for a while now, they could tell that when Marcus became Marcia it was for different reasons. While Marcus was an average guy, he always seemed much happier and more comfortable when he was Marcia. While the rest of them would only dress up on occasion, Marcus would often spend entire days at home alone as Marcia without any plans to go out or perform at the local drag club. They each knew that this was the right decision for Marcia and offered her their support. Marcia thanked each of them and informed them that she had already informed her parents. While her parents were angry at first, she eventually got their support.
After talking for a while, they each eventually went their separate ways to change, except for Regina who went to the bar. The planes were leaving tomorrow afternoon and there was a farewell banquet being held in the evening. Soon Marcia was alone with Kyle in the lounge. He told her that he would always love her and that she had his full support. He kissed her as they got up and went to change for the banquet. While she had come to the island as Marcus, from that day forward she was only Marcia. Although she was becoming a woman, however, she continued to enjoy the same interests she had as Marcus. Kyle loved that his girlfriend still had a tomboy side and enjoyed video games, sports, and action movies. While she was no longer Marcus, she remained the same person she always was.
At the banquet that evening, Kyle and Marcia watched as everyone said goodbye to their vacation friends and lovers. Many of them would not be dressing as their male of female alter egos for a while and they each wanted to enjoy the little time they had left. On the dance floor, Regina was dancing with Alejandro and they were both feeling sad knowing that this would be their final night together. Unlike most everyone else, they weren't just saying goodbye to their male or female alter egos, they were saying goodbye to each other until next year.
"I know this is a lot to ask," Alejandro said, "but I haven't dated anyone since Robert dumped me for some woman at his office and kicked me out of our apartment. It's been hard for me to open up to people since then, but since I met you I've realized what I've been missing. Would you stay with me on the island and be my girlfriend or boyfriend or both?"
"I can't," Regina responded, "I have a life and a girlfriend back home. I had fun spending time with you, but I'm not ready to give that all up."
"I understand," Alejandro said, "I will miss you Regina."
"I will miss you too," Regina said seeing the disappointment in his eyes, "but the night isn't over yet. I'd like to give you something to remember me by."
They passed Kyle and Marcia and said goodnight to them as they left the banquet and ran upstairs. They reached Regina's room, which was empty since all of her friends were still at the banquet, and locked the door after they entered. They began to kiss and although they were still uncomfortable in their reversed roles, they began to make out more passionately. They were no longer thinking of each other in terms of gender, but as two people that had formed a genuine connection. Alejandro unzipped her dress and she let it fall to the floor as they continued kissing. They fell onto her bed and Alejandro continued kissing her as he removed her heels. She took off her bra and lay before him in only her thong while he took off his shirt, shoes, and pants and was soon wearing only his boxer shorts. While his skin wasn't hairy like most men, there were signs of stubble from not having shaved or waxed in a while. She smiled seductively at him as he ran his hands over her long smooth legs and kissed her golden brown skin. Regina let out a soft moan as he softly kissed her neck and shoulders.
Having forgotten to put the chain on the door, they were interrupted by Rachel entering the room just as they were about to take things further. Rachel stood in shock as Regina covered herself with a sheet and Alejandro jumped out of the bed. Realizing that she had interrupted them, she began to apologize.
"I'm so sorry," Rachel said, "I didn't realize..."
"No, it was actually good you came when you did," Regina said surprising her.
"Yes," Alejandro said as he got dressed, "we were both about to take things further than we were ready for."
"Perhaps next year," Regina said as Alejandro kissed her.
"Until then my love," Alejandro said.
Regina began to get dressed as he left the room and went back to the party with Rachel. They walked in and Marcia and Kyle smiled at them as they entered. Regina told her about Alejandro and how they decided that they would wait until next year to take things further. Regina was disappointed that the week was ending, but was also looking forward to getting back to being Reggie and having Rachel as his girlfriend once again. They said goodnight to Marcia and Kyle and went to visit with some of their other friends.
Kyle and Marcia knew how difficult the end of a romance or friendship could be, having said goodbye to both boyfriends and girlfriends in the past. For Kyle and Marcia, however, tonight was not the end, but rather the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. When they returned to their room that night, Marcia removed her prosthetic breasts and revealed her budding breasts for the first time. In the months to come her body would be changing rapidly and her breasts would continue to grow. She fell asleep happy to have the support of her loving parents, boyfriend, and friends as she finally became the woman she was meant to be.
